The most useful thing you can do is email omnisfestival@gmail.com before the event with what you need. The earlier we know, the more we can arrange. Nothing you tell us is shared beyond the people who need it to help you.

At the venue

Hobart City Hall, Macquarie Street, Hobart TAS 7000.

We are still confirming the venue’s access details with Hobart City Hall — entrances, toilets, viewing areas and Companion Card arrangements. Rather than publish anything we cannot yet stand behind, we will put the confirmed details here once we have them.

Accredited assistance animals are welcome anywhere in the venue. That is your right under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth) and does not depend on anything we are still confirming.

In the meantime, email omnisfestival@gmail.com with what you need. We will find out and come back to you before you have to commit to a ticket.

Things to know

The event uses strobe lighting, lasers and haze, and runs at high sound levels for nine hours. This can affect people with epilepsy, photosensitivity, migraine, heart conditions, hearing sensitivity or sensory processing differences. If you need details on when the most intense effects occur, ask us and we’ll tell you what we know.

This website

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. The site is built to be:

• fully operable by keyboard, with visible focus indicators;
• readable at a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 for body text;
• usable with a screen reader, using proper heading structure;
• respectful of your reduced motion setting — if your device asks for reduced motion, the animated background holds still and nothing scrolls or loops on its own;
• zoomable and readable at 200% without loss of content or function.
