Conditions of Entry

1. Age and ID

Strictly 18+. Everyone is ID-checked on entry. Acceptable ID is a current Australian driver licence, an Australian or foreign passport, or a state or territory proof-of-age card. Expired documents, photocopies and photographs of ID are not accepted.

No acceptable ID means no entry, and no refund. Presenting false or borrowed ID is an offence and will be reported.

2. Your ticket

You must present a valid ticket purchased from 123tix. Tickets are subject to the Ticket Terms. There is no re-entry — if you leave the venue, your ticket is spent.

3. Searches

Bag and person searches may be conducted as a condition of entry, and may be repeated inside the venue. Security will conduct searches respectfully and you may request a staff member of a particular gender. If you refuse a search, you will not be admitted, and no refund will be given.

4. Prohibited items

The following may not be brought into the venue:

• alcohol or any beverage not bought at the venue bar;
• illicit drugs or substances of any kind;
• glass, cans, or containers of any kind;
• weapons, or any item that could reasonably be used as a weapon;
• flares, fireworks, lasers, or any pyrotechnic or incendiary item;
• professional cameras, audio or video recording equipment, without our prior written approval;
• large bags, backpacks and suitcases — small bags only;
• animals, other than an accredited assistance animal (see clause 9);
• any item venue staff or security reasonably consider unsafe.

Prohibited items will be confiscated and may be disposed of. We do not operate a cloaking service for confiscated items.

5. Alcohol and responsible service

The bar is licensed and operated by Omnis Festival under the Liquor Licensing Act 1990 (Tas). Staff are legally required to refuse service to any person who is intoxicated or cannot produce ID, and it is an offence to buy alcohol for a person under 18 or for an intoxicated person.

Intoxicated patrons will be refused entry or removed from the venue without refund. Free drinking water is available throughout the event.

6. Drugs

Possession, use and supply of illicit substances is illegal and is not tolerated. Anyone found with illicit substances will be removed and may be reported to Tasmania Police.

If you or someone with you becomes unwell, get help immediately. Find any staff member or head to first aid. Our priority is your safety, not getting you in trouble.

7. Behaviour

Everyone has the right to be here safely. The following will get you removed without refund, and may be reported to police:

• violence, threats, or intimidating behaviour;
• sexual harassment, unwanted touching, or persistent unwanted attention;
• discrimination or harassment based on race, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, religion or any other attribute protected under the Anti-Discrimination Act 1998 (Tas);
• damage to the venue, equipment or other people’s property;
• refusing a reasonable direction from venue staff, security or event crew.

If something happens to you or you see something wrong, tell any staff member in a marked shirt. You will be taken seriously.

8. Sound, lighting and safety

This event runs at high sound levels for extended periods and uses strobe lighting, lasers, haze and other intense lighting effects, which may affect people with epilepsy, photosensitivity, heart conditions or hearing sensitivity. Free earplugs are available at the door.

You must comply with all venue safety directions, including emergency evacuation procedures. Keep exits and walkways clear. Do not climb on any structure, staging or equipment.

9. Accessibility

Accredited assistance animals are welcome. If you have specific access requirements, contact us in advance at omnisfestival@gmail.com so we can arrange what you need. See the Accessibility page.

10. Filming and photography

The event will be photographed and filmed. By entering you consent to your image, voice and likeness being recorded and used by us for promotional, archival and commercial purposes without payment. Speak to staff at the door if you’d prefer not to be filmed.

Personal photos and short videos on a phone are fine. Professional or commercial recording requires our written approval.

11. Your property

You bring your belongings into the venue at your own risk. Neither we nor the venue is responsible for property that is lost, stolen or damaged, except to the extent caused by our negligence or where liability cannot be excluded by law.

12. Refusal and removal

We and the venue may refuse entry to, or remove, any person who breaches these conditions, without refund. Repeat or serious breaches may result in being banned from future events.

13. Changes

These conditions may be updated before the event. The version published on this page on the day of the event is the version that applies.
